Rossi Boots
Arthur Edward Rossiter founded Rossiter's Pty Ltd in 1910 working from a small tin shed in his backyard. In the early days, Rossi Boots were major suppliers to the military. As their reputation spread, they were constantly asked to develop specialised designs for sports players.
Arthur had three children – Arthur junior, Keith and Vera. All three children joined the company and took it into the second generation.
Today, Dean Edward Rossiter, a third generation member of the Rossiter family, carries on the management of the company started by his grandfather and is still actively involved with the descendants of original Rossiter employees at the Company's modern and well-equipped factory in Hilton.
Rossi Boots' heritage and quality of workmanship, passed down through three generations of family members, has been instrumental to the longevity and success of Rossiter's Pty Ltd. Rossi Boots' legendary elastic-sided work boots have been worn hard by Australians ever since Edward Rossiter started making them in his shed back in 1910.
Rossi Boots were Inducted into the FBA (SA) Hall of Fame in 2002.
